It presents itself as a news window on Libyan affairs, with a wide network of correspondents covering the country and bulletins running through the day.

The News Day

Nashra al-Akhbar is the bulletin brand of the channel, with editions at three in the afternoon, six and nine in the evening and at midnight, summing up Libyan politics, security and daily life. Its drama slot runs the series Al-Najdayn 2, Shatt al-Hurriya 7 and Katib Aila, while heritage and religious programmes include Masajiduna, a series on Libyan mosques such as the Sahaba Mosque in Derna, the Al-Qafila Al-Turathiya heritage series and Hikayat with Taha Al-Jawashi.
