Telesistema 11 is a Dominican general-interest television channel that began broadcasting in 1976. Its schedule combines national news and interviews with serial dramas, films, children’s programming and entertainment. News and public-affairs shows give local issues a regular place alongside international stories.

Morning discussion and interviews

El Día (The Day) is a weekday morning programme for news, interviews and analysis, directed by journalist Edith Febles. Telematutino (Morning Broadcast) also reviews national and international affairs, with hosts Ramón Núñez and Jacqueline Morel. Together, the programmes start the day with reporting, commentary and conversations about current events.

News through the day

Telenoticias Emisión Estelar (Prime-Time Newscast) brings the channel’s headline coverage to the evening schedule. The newsroom follows Dominican developments and international news, with Roberto Cavada directing the Telenoticias team. Its bulletins sit alongside daytime reporting and interview formats.

Drama and entertainment

Outside the news schedule, Telesistema 11 carries telenovelas, films, children’s shows and variety programmes. This generalist mix serves viewers looking for both current affairs and entertainment, while the channel’s locally produced news and discussion programmes keep Dominican stories central to the schedule.
