Gem Shopping Network Live Stream
Gem Shopping Network, now branded Gems, is an American jewelry and gemstone broadcaster founded by graduate gemologist Frank M. Circelli. It went on air from Georgia on 10 May 1997 and has since built a 24/7 live-streaming format. The company says its programming has shown nearly two million items, sold more than one million pieces and generated over $4 billion in sales, reaching more than 60 million households across platforms.
Gemology alongside shopping
The channel combines product presentations with explanations of stones and jewelry. Its on-air experts discuss colored gemstones, fine jewelry, estate pieces and gold settings while presenting items to viewers. The company says it does not sell man-made or synthetic gemstones, except where such materials are period-appropriate in estate pieces. Its inventory includes 14- to 24-karat gold, accent diamonds, designer collections and estate jewelry.
Live presentations and craftsmanship
Gems describes its broadcast as a continuous live show featuring hosts and gemologists. The channel grew from weekend satellite broadcasts into a 24-hour service, and its online television stream is accompanied by a digital shop. Behind the presentations are in-house jewelry artisans, gemstone cutters, on-site designers and graduate gemologists. Founder Frank M. Circelli hosted what the company identifies as the first colored-gemstone show on American television. Its format continues to pair retail with product knowledge and demonstrations.
