TV Transamérica Live Stream

TV Transamérica was a Curitiba television station on channel 59. It began in 1992 as TV Exclusiva and adopted the Transamérica name in 2006. The channel was associated with the Rede Transamérica de Comunicação and Conglomerado Alfa, which entered television through the purchase of TV Exclusiva.

A local station with changing affiliations

Throughout its run, the station carried network programmes and local productions for Curitiba. Its shifting affiliations brought national content into the schedule, while independent periods made room for locally produced news, sports and entertainment.

Curitiba programmes

Station listings include Transnotícias (Transamérica News), Toda Tarde (All Afternoon), Plantão 59 (Channel 59 News Update), Transamérica Esportes (Transamérica Sports) and Mesa Redonda (Roundtable). The police news programme 190 also aired on TV Transamérica in its final period. These titles reflect a schedule built around local news, sport and general-interest programming.

End of broadcasting

TV Transamérica ended operations on 25 December 2020 after its partnership with CentralTV concluded. In its final weeks, the channel stopped regular programming and transmitted color bars; its closure was announced during 190. The Curitiba station is no longer broadcasting live.
