Logos TV English Live Stream

Logos TV English is the English-language service of Logos TV, the Coptic Orthodox Christian channel broadcasting from Los Angeles. The network began transmitting in Arabic in July 2017 as the first Coptic channel ever broadcast from outside Egypt, and it later added the English service to serve youth and children in countries where English is the primary language.

An English Arm of a Coptic Ministry

The channel operates under the direct supervision of the Coptic Orthodox Church and the auspices of His Eminence Metropolitan Serapion of the Diocese of Los Angeles, with day-to-day oversight by Fr. Bishoy Aziz, the priest whose earlier appearances on other Christian stations led to the agreement to create a Coptic channel for the diaspora. The ministry is based in Northridge, California, and presents itself as an Orthodox witness to Jesus Christ.

Four Objectives on Air

Logos TV defines its content by four stated objectives: Preaching, Education, Healing and Advocacy. The motto behind them is taken from the Epistle to the Colossians (1:28) — to “present everyone fully mature in Christ” — so the schedule moves between sermons, Bible teaching, spiritual counselling and programs defending the oppressed. The parent ministry’s Arabic-language grid, which the English service draws on, includes the teaching series Kalimat al-Hayah (Word of Life), the family program Hayat Saliha lil-Mutazawwijin (A Righteous Life for Married Couples) and conversations with Metropolitan Serapion in Imanuna al-Aqdas (Our Holiest Faith).
