El 10 TV - Televisión Salteña - is the local television channel of Salta, in northwestern Argentina, broadcasting since mid-2010. The channel has positioned itself as one of the main media of the region, offering purely local programming produced in the city.

Salta's own screen

The channel focuses on the production of local content, giving Salta's media professionals room to develop: from entertainment programmes to news and sport, the grid is made in and for the province. Its news sections run from Locales through Nacionales and Internacionales to Deportes and Espectáculos, and its recent coverage has followed Salta's public health bulletins, the province's municipal politics and the national football agenda.

The station's institutional desk - El 10 Institucional - covers the province's public bodies, while its community campaigns have taken up issues from the environment to social development in the region.

Live and online

The channel streams its signal live through its own transmission page and publishes its reports on its social accounts, so that the Salta audience can follow the province's events on television and online alike.
