Mahaasin TV Live Stream

Mahaasin TV is an Islamic television channel from Mwanza, Tanzania, operated by Mahaasin Media, a company run by Muslims for the benefit of Muslims. The channel is known for its Islamic Da'awah and Durus — lectures and teaching sessions from scholars in Tanzania and around the world.

Understanding Islam, living peacefully

Mahaasin Media's stated aim is to improve its audience's worldly understanding of Islam while reminding Muslims of their obligation to live peacefully and perform their worship. The channel's output reflects this: religious lectures, teaching programmes and community content, including weekly series such as its Jahazi la Wiki strand and its Uliza Ujuwe question-and-answer programming.

A large online community

Mahaasin TV reaches its audience through its live stream and an active social media presence, with a Facebook following in the hundreds of thousands — one of the larger communities for an Islamic channel in East Africa. It serves Muslims in Tanzania and the Swahili-speaking region online.
