Nandejara Ne'e TV Live Stream
Ñandejara Ñe'ẽ TV - the name means the word of God in Guaraní - is a Catholic television channel from Paraguay, run by the Fundación Ñandejara Ñe'ẽ, an organisation set up to spread the word of God. It went on air on 31 March 2022 and is followed through its stream and its video channels.
Scripture, book by book
The channel's strongest feature is its systematic treatment of the Bible. Separate sections cover the Antiguo Testamento and the Nuevo Testamento, working through the books in order, alongside Liturgia de la palabra for the readings of the day and Homilia for the preaching that follows them. It is teaching designed to be followed week after week rather than sampled.
Mass and family
Misa carries the Eucharist, and Dominicales gathers the Sunday material for viewers who cannot attend in person. Beyond the liturgy the schedule makes room for families and young people: Jóvenes en familia addresses the place of faith in the home, and Aprendiendo con Jesús presents Christian teaching for children in a form they can follow.
A Guaraní name, a Paraguayan audience
Paraguay is the one country in the Americas where an indigenous language, Guaraní, is spoken by the great majority of the population, and the channel's name reflects that reality: Ñandejara, our God, and ñe'ẽ, word. The foundation behind the channel works from Paraguay and is supported by donations, and its programmes are published on its site with an archive of past editions.
