Net 25 Live Stream
Net 25 (stylized NET25) is a Philippine free-to-air television network owned and operated by the Eagle Broadcasting Corporation. Its flagship station is DZEC-TV in Metro Manila, broadcasting on UHF channel 25 in analog and channel 28 in digital, with studios at the EBC Building on Central Avenue in New Era, Quezon City. Beyond the Philippines, the network reaches audiences in the United States, Canada, Asia, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, the Middle East and North Africa.
On Air Since 1999
The network started operations on 27 July 1999 and was officially launched on 23 April 2000 with a multimedia exhibit called Destination: NET 25. It made its name with live coverage: in late April 2001 NET25 was the only station airing live the pro-Estrada rallies known as EDSA III, and it has since covered Philippine national elections, presidential inaugurations and the State of the Nation Address, as well as the Iglesia ni Cristo's anniversary events every 27 July. In 2009 it carried the wake and funeral of the INC executive minister Erano Manalo.
Programming
The schedule grew out of teleradyo formats such as Liwanagin Natin, Con Todos Recados and Openline, combined with technology, arts, lifestyle and culture programmes and religious content from the Iglesia ni Cristo, including Ang Tamang Daan. Original productions followed with Spoon, the lifestyle show MOMents and the youth format Tribe. In 2011 the network adopted the tagline "Dito na 'ko" - "I'm here" - replacing the earlier "Feed Your Mind", marking its move towards a broader mainstream audience.
