Funoon TV Live Stream

Funoon TV (Arabic: قناة الفنون, "The Arts Channel") is an Arabic-language comedy television channel based in Kuwait. Launched on 25 February 2005, it was the first Arabic-language channel to specialise entirely in comedy programming.

The Founder's Channel

Funoon was founded, owned and directed by the late Kuwaiti actor Abdulhussain Abdulredha, one of the Gulf's best-known comedians. His production company invested heavily in original comedy, especially for the Ramadan season, producing exclusive series for the channel year after year - from Fadfada and Not a Word to Eye Eye, My Family and Eyal Bo Salem.

Programming

The schedule combines the channel's own comedy productions with classic and modern films and series from Kuwait, the Gulf and the wider Arab world - ranging from sketch shows and sitcoms to comedy-drama made for the Ramadan audience.

Distribution

Funoon broadcasts via the Nilesat and Arabsat satellites across the Arab world, and its programmes are distributed today through its official YouTube channel, which carries episodes and clips from the channel's comedy catalogue.
