Africanews Live Stream

Africanews is a 24/7 pan-African multilingual news network owned by Euronews. It began broadcasting online on 4 January 2016 and on air on 20 April 2016, and is now headquartered in Lyon, France, after starting out in Pointe-Noire, Republic of the Congo. The channel broadcasts in English and French to 32 African countries.

Programmes

The news day is built around The Morning Call and Good Morning Africa in the mornings, Daily News and Prime Edition through the afternoon and evening, and The Nightshift overnight, with International Weekend rounding off the week. Themed strands include Business Africa (Thursday nights), Football Planet (Monday nights), This is Culture!, Sci_Tech, Timeout Africa and the commentary-free picture format No Comment, plus daily Météo Africa and Météo World forecasts.

Distribution

In Africa the channel is carried on DStv (channel 417), GOtv (47), StarTimes (272), Zuku (524) and AzamTV (235); in the UK it is available on Freeview channel 271 via Channelbox and on the NewsPlayer+ service, and worldwide through its own platforms.
