Radio Hogar Live Stream

Radio Hogar - La Voz de tu Iglesia, the voice of your church - is the Catholic broadcaster of the Archdiocese of Panama. It has served the country for more than seventy years as a family station and a pioneer of radio evangelisation, and its anniversary is a fixture in the Panamanian media calendar.

A network across the isthmus

The station reaches the country through a set of regional frequencies rather than a single signal: 94.1 FM for Panama City and West Panama, 93.1 FM for the central provinces, 99.1 FM in Colón, 103.7 FM for Chiriquí, Bocas del Toro and the Ngäbe-Buglé comarca, and 101.1 FM for Darién, Wargandí and Emberá-Wounaan. It is also carried on Tigo channel 857, which is how the radio service appears on television in Panamanian homes.

What it broadcasts

The programming is Catholic in content and family in tone: the Mass and the rosary, catechesis and teaching, news from the Church in Panama, programmes on marriage and the upbringing of children, and music. The station's site carries a schedule, a podcast archive, news and a form for requesting rosaries, and it invites listeners to join its familia sostenidora - the supporters who keep the work going.

From radio to video

Radio Hogar has extended into video, publishing its programming online and through its video channel, where its presenters and priests appear on screen as well as in sound. The ministry's centre is in Carrasquilla, Panama City, and its output continues to reach Panamanians at home and abroad.
