Canal C online - Television live

Canal C Live Stream

Canal C is the local television channel of Cali - the screen of the Sucursal del Cielo, broadcasting news, sports, opinion, magazine and music programming for the city and the Valle del Cauca. The channel's promise is in its tagline, "más cerca de usted" - closer to you - and its programming also streams live online.

It is the kind of channel that exists because the city demands one: Cali is a metropolis with its own politics, its own sport and its own daily life, and Canal C covers it from the inside.

Calidirecto and the Daily Grid

The anchor of the schedule is Calidirecto, the channel's daily live news program, broadcast live each weekday with the day's news from the city and the region. Around it runs the channel's general mix - the sports, music, opinion and magazine programs the station lists as its programming base - with the journalistic blocks carrying the day's coverage: the city's administration, its neighborhoods, its public services and its politics, plus the sports and entertainment that a channel in a football city never lacks.

The Sucursal del Cielo on Screen

Canal C serves a city with a particularly strong identity: Cali - the Sucursal del Cielo, capital of the Valle del Cauca, the world's salsa capital, home of the Feria de Cali and of two football clubs that define the city's weekends, Deportivo Cali and América de Cali. A local channel in that city covers a beat unlike any other in the country: the sugar and the salsa, the universities and the factories, the comunas of the east and the neighborhoods of the west - the full texture of a big Colombian city, on the screen of the people who live in it.

Production and Community

The station runs as a working media company as well as a broadcaster: Canal C offers production services to local businesses and organizations, a client operation that funds and feeds the newsroom. The video archive keeps the programs available after broadcast, and the channel's social presence carries the day's stories to viewers who follow Cali from anywhere. For a city the size of Cali, that combination - a local newsroom, a daily live broadcast and a full online operation - is what keeps the channel's promise to be más cerca de usted, closer to you, every day.
