RMK TV, also known as Tele Radio Monte Kronio or Tele Monte Kronio, is a broadcaster based in Sciacca, in Sicily’s province of Agrigento. The station’s official history dates its beginning to February 1980 and describes it as Sciacca’s first television broadcaster. Its website combines local reporting with an on-demand catalogue of programmes and recorded coverage, giving viewers an online television archive focused on the area.

Local reporting and productions

The broadcaster’s on-demand section lists Telegiornale (News Bulletin), Servizi (Reports) and Speciali (Special Reports), alongside the programmes Vesper and L’Ospite (The Guest). These entries document the station’s news output and studio productions. The catalogue also includes Consigli Comunali (Municipal Council Meetings), reflecting RMK’s coverage of local public affairs. The station’s history says it has carried municipal council sessions from Sciacca, Ribera, Menfi and Castelvetrano.

Culture, food and community events

Other titles in the official archive include In Cucina con Domenico e Simone (Cooking with Domenico and Simone) and ARTè, as well as recorded Dirette del Carnevale di Sciacca (Sciacca Carnival Live Broadcasts). The station’s historical account describes sport as an important part of its early output, including football, volleyball and basketball coverage. It also records past local entertainment productions; these historical references should not be read as a current schedule. Together, the listed archive and history show RMK’s focus on news, local institutions, culture, sport and events in and around Sciacca.
