Channel 14 Live Stream

Channel 14 (ערוץ 14), also known as Now 14, is an Israeli commercial television channel and news site broadcasting news, political commentary, satire and talk shows, all presented from a right-wing perspective. The channel is operated by the Jewish Israeli Channel Ltd, with businessman Yitzchak Mirilashvili as its controlling shareholder.

From heritage channel to Now 14

The station grew out of a long-planned Israeli heritage channel first proposed in the late 1990s. After two tender rounds, the channel launched on 30 June 2014 as the Heritage Channel on channel 20, and became known simply as Channel 20. In February 2018 an amendment to the Second Authority law secured the channel's future, and it later moved to slot 14 - taking over the channel space previously held by Channel 10 on digital terrestrial and pay-TV platforms - and rebranded as Now 14.

Programming

The channel is primarily news-oriented, with religious programming that has declined as the schedule shifted towards news and commentary. Its most popular programme is The Patriots, a panel show hosted by Yinon Magal in which journalists and activists debate current issues against a buzzer-enforced time limit; regular panellists have included Irit Linur, Yaki Adamker, Yedidya Meir, Yotam Zimri, Yoni Chetboun and Moshe Cohen-Eliya. Shai Goldstein and Noam Fathi host the channel's talk programming.

Distribution

Channel 14 broadcasts nationally in Israel on digital terrestrial television (channel 14) in 720p HD and on cable and satellite platforms, and streams through its official website c14.co.il.
