ACNN online - Television live

ACNN Live Stream

ACNN - Advent Cable Network Nigeria - is the television service of the Church of Nigeria, the Anglican Communion's province in the country. Its promise is to keep the orthodox faith alive through Christ-centred media, and it broadcasts in English on cable and online.

News and faith in one schedule

What sets ACNN apart from most Nigerian religious channels is the weight it gives to news. Its sections run from politics, security, business and foreign affairs to education, health, sports and opinion, alongside its Anglican and Christian media strands. A viewer can follow the country's affairs and the church's teaching on the same channel, which is unusual in a market dominated by preaching.

Devotion and study

The devotional side is anchored by the Daily Fountain, the Church of Nigeria's daily devotional readings, together with Bible Study and Anglican Insights - a strand on the church's tradition and its place in Nigerian life. Youth, Family & Wellness, Faith & Politics and health programming complete the grid.

Watching

ACNN broadcasts in standard definition, launched in 2013, and is carried on Nigerian cable networks and online. The site publishes its programmes, an airtime and programmes page for those who wish to broadcast, and a donations section, and it streams the channel live.
