Payvand TV Live Stream

Payvand TV - پیوند, the bond - is a Persian-language channel that takes its name from the idea of connection. It works across faith, scholarship, culture and heritage, and it is followed online through its live stream.

Faith, mysticism and care

The channel's programming is built on the reflective side of Persian religious culture: lessons in Islamic teaching, sessions on mysticism and the Sufi inheritance, discussions of ethics and of the care owed to the vulnerable and the sick, and programmes on Persian literature and heritage. That combination - doctrine, spirituality and culture together - reflects a tradition in which the three are not separated.

A Persian audience at home and abroad

The channel addresses Persian speakers in Iran and across the diaspora, and its register suits both: the teaching is given in the language of the classical tradition rather than in the idiom of the sermon, and the cultural programmes treat poetry, history and heritage as part of the same conversation as faith.

Watching

Payvand TV broadcasts in standard definition by satellite and streams in higher quality through the Tulix CDN, which carries several international broadcasters. Its programmes are also published on its video channel.
