Iran Jewish TV Live Stream

Iran Jewish TV - تلویزیون یهودیان ایرانی, the television of Iranian Jews - is a Persian-language Jewish channel. Its site opens with the blessing be-shem ha-Shem, in the name of God, and its sections are those of a religious curriculum: Torah, Beracha, Halacha and Books.

A community's own channel

Jews have lived in Persia for more than two and a half thousand years, and the community that remained after the twentieth-century emigrations is one of the oldest in the Jewish world. A channel in Persian serves that community and the much larger diaspora of Iranian Jews in Israel, the United States and Europe - people who pray and study in Persian and want the tradition taught in the language they know.

What it carries

The programming follows the site's structure: study of the Torah, the laws of blessing and of daily observance, halachic questions and answers, and readings from the classical literature. It is teaching rather than spectacle, addressed to viewers who want to know how to live according to the commandments.

Watching

Iran Jewish TV broadcasts by satellite and streams through its own server, with a live section and an archive on its site. Its programmes are also published on its video channel, where the lessons are collected.
