BeitolAbbas TV Channel Live Stream

BeitolAbbas TV - شبکه جهانی بیت العباس, the global network of the House of Abbas - is a Shia religious channel broadcasting from Iraq. It works in Arabic and Persian and is followed online through its live stream.

What the channel carries

The schedule is built on devotion and on the calendar. Ziyarat - the visitation prayers of the shrines - has a fixed place, alongside the majalis and the recitation that accompany them, and the channel's programme list follows the religious year in detail: Muharram, Safar, Rabee', Sha'ban, Ramadan, Shawwal, the days of Fatimiyya, Eid al-Ghadir and Arba'een. Each season has its own series, produced for that period and broadcast as it falls.

A network with series of its own

Beyond the seasonal programming the channel produces regular shows - Bab al-Hawa'ij, Kafeh Porsesh with its question-and-answer format, Cheragh-e Rah, Barmadar-e Akhlaq, a puppet programme for children and a magazine strand. That production separates it from channels that simply relay shrine services: it has a schedule of its own, built around the devotional year.
