Shalom Live Stream

Shalom TV - Shalom Television, the network's own slogan calls it God's own channel - is the Malayalam-language Catholic service of Shalom Media, working from Kerala in southern India.

What the channel carries

The schedule is built on Catholic devotion as it is practised in Kerala: the Holy Mass celebrated in Malayalam, the Rosary, novenas to the saints and to Our Lady, adoration and the prayers of the Eastern Catholic tradition, together with retreats and conferences recorded at Shalom's own centres. Teaching, testimony and family programmes fill the hours between.

A movement with a media arm

Shalom Media grew out of a Catholic charismatic movement and became one of India's larger religious broadcasters, with retreat centres, a publishing arm and a family of channels in several languages. The Malayalam service is its original and largest, and it serves Kerala's Christians - a community with an unbroken history going back to the apostle Thomas - as well as the large Malayali diaspora in the Gulf, Europe and North America.

Watching

Shalom TV broadcasts in standard definition by satellite to India, North America and Europe and streams through a CloudFront delivery set up for the network. Its programmes are also published on its video channel.
