Sanskar UK Live Stream

Sanskar UK is the British service of the Sanskar group, the Indian devotional broadcaster. It carries the group's katha, bhajan and discourse programming to the Indian communities of Britain - among them large Gujarati, Punjabi and Hindi-speaking populations with their own temples and their own devotional calendars.

Devotion in a new country

For a family that grew up with a particular teacher's katha, the channel is a way of keeping that connection after moving abroad, and for the generation born in Britain it is a way of meeting the tradition in the language their parents use for it. The group's programming serves both: familiar enough for the older audience, accessible enough for the younger.

What it carries

The schedule follows the parent network: katha and teaching, bhajan and kirtan, aarti and the festivals of the Hindu year, plus the yoga and Ayurveda strand that Sanskar has made part of its identity.

Watching

Sanskar UK streams through the group's CloudFront delivery and is carried in the Sanskar app with the other services, and its programmes are published on the group's video channel.
