Arputhar Yesu TV Live Stream

Arputhar Yesu TV - அற்புதர் இயேசு, the wondrous Jesus - describes itself as the first Tamil Roman Catholic channel. It was founded by L. Nelson Antony Joachim and broadcasts in Tamil for Catholic viewers in Tamil Nadu and abroad.

What the channel carries

The schedule is built on Catholic worship: the Mass in Tamil, the Rosary and novenas, adoration and prayers for the sick, and teaching and catechesis for families and children. Coverage of parish and diocesan events and of the shrines of Tamil Nadu fills out the week, with music and devotional programmes between them.

A channel with a founder's name on it

The site names its founder plainly, and that is characteristic of the smaller Catholic broadcasters of Tamil Nadu: a layman or a priest begins a channel, gathers a congregation of viewers, and the work grows around a person rather than an institution. Arputhar Yesu TV's own apps and its church listings show how far that model can reach.

Watching

Arputhar Yesu TV broadcasts in standard definition and streams from the Livebox infrastructure used by its operator, with a live section, app downloads and a church directory on its site. Its programmes are also published on its video channel and on a separate live channel.
