Aastha Gujarati Live Stream

Aastha Gujarati is the Gujarati-language service of Aastha TV, the devotional network of Vedic Broadcasting Limited. It carries the network's programme into Gujarati for viewers in Gujarat and the large Gujarati diaspora.

What the channel carries

The schedule follows Aastha's pattern in Gujarati: bhajans and devotional song, pravachan with teachers, festival and temple coverage, and the yoga and Ayurveda programming the network produces with the Patanjali organisation. Gujarati devotional culture has its own strong traditions - the songs of Mirabai and Narsinh Mehta, the garba and bhajan repertoire - and the service draws on them.

For a trading diaspora

Gujaratis are among India's most widely dispersed communities, with large populations in East Africa, Britain and North America. A Gujarati service is for them as much as for viewers at home, and it is often how a family abroad keeps the devotional calendar and the language of its household.

Watching

Aastha Gujarati broadcasts in standard definition on Indian platforms and streams through the SmartPlay TV infrastructure used by the network, with its programmes also published on the network's video channels.
