Ertsulovneba Live Stream
Ertsulovneba is the television service of the Georgian Patriarchate, operating as a company whose sole owner is the Patriarchate itself. It was founded in 2008 and broadcasts across the whole territory of Georgia.
The channel describes its purpose as presenting Orthodox, traditional and spiritual values together with Georgian cultural and educational material, and it sits closer to the church's own voice than to a general entertainment broadcaster.
Liturgy and Church Life
Services from Georgian churches are carried through the liturgical year, with the major feasts given extended coverage. Sermons and addresses by the Catholicos-Patriarch and by the country's bishops form a regular part of the schedule.
The channel also follows the life of the Patriarchate: meetings of the Holy Synod, the restoration of churches, monastic life and the work of church institutions.
Culture and Heritage
Georgian heritage has a firm place in the programming. Documentary and talk formats deal with church architecture, icon painting, chanting and the history of Christianity in the Caucasus, and the channel gives space to Georgian literature and music.
Educational items explain Orthodox practice for viewers who are learning the tradition, and youth and family subjects appear in shorter formats.
Broadcasting
Ertsulovneba transmits to households across Georgia and publishes its news and programme material on its own site, where the channel's live page and archive are also held. Its identity declaration, published in 2021, records the Patriarchate as the sole owner.
