Trace Gospel Nigeria and East Africa online - Television live
Trace Gospel Nigeria and East Africa Live Stream
Trace Gospel Nigeria and East Africa is one of the regional feeds of Trace Gospel, the gospel music channel owned by the French group Trace Partners. It serves audiences in Nigeria and the east of the continent with the same music-led schedule as the main channel.
The parent service was launched in France on 23 November 2015 and has grown into a network of regional signals, a process accelerated in 2018 when Trace and Thema, a Canal+ International subsidiary, merged Trace Gospel with Gospel Music TV under one name.
African Gospel in Focus
The feed gives prominence to Nigerian and East African artists. Videos range from contemporary gospel and Afro-gospel to traditional church music and choir recordings, and the playlist is refreshed as new releases appear.
Programming blocks are organised by style and by country, allowing viewers to follow the output of a particular scene across the week.
Concerts and Worship
Concert films and recordings from church services make up the live element of the schedule. Large gospel events held in Lagos, Nairobi and other cities are covered, and festival sets are carried in full.
Interviews with artists and producers explain the background to new records and tours.
Distribution
The Nigerian and East African feed is distributed by satellite and cable operators in the region and is available through the Trace streaming platform, alongside the French and southern African services.
