Huda TV, formerly known as Zee Huda, is an Egyptian free-to-air satellite and internet channel broadcasting Islamic content in English. It was launched in 2005 and works under the line A Light In Every House, addressing English-speaking Muslims and non-Muslims curious about the faith.

The channel is carried on Intelsat 20 and previously appeared on Galaxy 19, Nilesat and other platforms, which gave it reach across the Middle East, Europe and North America.

Programme Strands

Ask Huda is the channel's question-and-answer format, with viewers putting religious and practical matters to scholars. Quran Circle and Correct your Recitation deal with reading and reciting the Qur'an, the latter correcting common errors of pronunciation.

Gardens of the Pious and Gems of the Heart present teaching and reflection, How He Treated Them examines the Prophet's conduct with the people around him, and Hajj Impressions follows the pilgrimage. Inspirations completes the list of regular series.

Speakers and Teaching

The channel draws on English-speaking preachers and scholars, among them Yusuf Estes, Zakir Naik, Bilal Philips, Abu Usamah at-Thahabi and Assim Al-Hakeem. Programmes explain belief, worship and daily conduct, and the website publishes written articles on the same subjects, from zakat and Eid to Ramadan and the Day of Arafah.

Where to Watch

Huda TV broadcasts by satellite and streams continuously through its own website, with recordings also published on its YouTube channel.
