LA Cityview 35 Live Stream

LA Cityview 35 is the government access television channel of the City of Los Angeles, carrying City Council meetings, city department programs and community coverage to basic cable subscribers on Channel 35 and to online viewers around the clock.

City Hall on Channel 35

The channel's core business is transparency: Los Angeles City Council meetings air live on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, with full replays each evening and a Sunday block that re-runs the week's sessions. Committee hearings and other city business follow the same pattern, so a decision made in the council chamber can be watched the same night at home.

Programs From the Departments

Beyond meetings, LA Cityview produces original programming about how the city works: series from the departments that run parks, libraries, sanitation, transportation and public safety, profiles of city services and events, and cultural programs that spotlight Los Angeles neighborhoods and their communities.

One Government, Many Screens

The channel streams its feed online alongside the cable signal, and its video archive collects meetings and programs for on-demand viewing. For a city of nearly four million people spread across a hundred neighborhoods, Channel 35 functions as the shared municipal screen - the place where the public business of Los Angeles is shown to the public.
