Sophia TV Live Stream

Sophia TV is the television service of Radio Santec, an independent Christian broadcaster based in Marktheidenfeld, Bavaria. The station transmits around the clock from Germany and describes itself as an original Christian radio and television ministry, producing both forms of media from a single editorial team.

Its work is financed by viewers' donations rather than advertising, and the broadcaster states that it is independent and free.

Formats and Series

Programmes examine different areas of life from the standpoint of high ethics and morality, as the station puts it. The series include divine revelations, inner devotions and meditations, together with schooling hours and readings.

Round-table discussions bring several participants together, and the channel produces programmes on the state of the environment and on the protection of animals and nature. Nature documentaries and children's programmes complete the range, alongside music productions from the station's own label.

Broadcasting in Germany and Abroad

Sophia TV is carried by satellite and streamed online, and in Germany it is available on the Vodafone cable network, where the service appears under the name Die Neue Zeit TV alongside the other channel. Viewers are advised to run a channel search under that name.

The schedule follows Central European Time, and the broadcaster supplies programme data to distributors and newspapers on request. The station publishes a monthly programme plan and offers a mobile application with the daily adage.
