From San José channel 23 to an international signal

Enlace’s official history traces its first broadcast to 9 September 1988, when the channel 23 signal began from Barrio Los Ángeles in San José. It initially aired for one hour a day and reached only a small area around its transmitter. In November 1996, the network began round the clock satellite broadcasting, extending its signal across much of the Americas. This development shaped Enlace from a local Costa Rican station into a Spanish language Christian network with a continental outlook.

The network’s current programming description gives preaching and doctrinal teaching a leading place, supported by discussion, family content, films, music and special broadcasts.
