Reuters TV Live Stream

Reuters TV is the video news service of Reuters, the international news organisation owned by Thomson Reuters and headquartered in London. The channel presents reporting as video journalism: correspondents and camera crews cover events as they develop and the material is assembled into a continuous news feed.

Reuters itself was founded in 1851 by Paul Julius Reuter, and the agency has supplied news and market data to newspapers, broadcasters and financial institutions ever since. Its video operation distributes reports that are taken up by clients around the world, and the television channel adapts that output for direct viewing.

What the Channel Carries

The schedule is built on international news: conflicts and diplomacy, elections and political crises, natural disasters, business and the markets, science and technology. Reports run short, in the agency style, with a presenter introducing the material and correspondents appearing from the field where events are happening.

Longer documentary and explainer items sit between the news blocks, covering a subject in greater depth than the bulletin allows.

Access

Reuters TV is distributed as a free ad-supported streaming channel through the Amagi platform, which delivers it over the internet to smart televisions and streaming services, with adaptive bitrate levels and English closed captions.
