Music TOP online - Television live

Music TOP Live Stream

Music TOP is the music channel of Argentina's Canal 26 group - a round-the-clock feed of Argentine and Latin music videos, from cumbia and rock nacional to Latin pop and reggaetón. Part of the Telecentro media group that also operates the Canal 26 news channel, it reaches Argentine cable households and streams live online.

Music television in Argentina has always been a matter of local identity as much as international hits, and Music TOP is built for that audience: the songs the country is actually singing, in the genres that fill its parties, its radios and its streets.

The Hits Around the Clock

The grid is music video programming in continuous blocks: Argentine pop and the new urban sounds, cumbia - the genre that owns every Argentine dance floor - rock nacional with its decades of classics, reggaetón and the Latin hits that travel from Buenos Aires to Bogotá and back. Chart programming and themed blocks give the schedule its rhythm, and because the channel never signs off, the music runs through the night for the audience that keeps it company.

The Canal 26 Family

Music TOP belongs to the group behind Canal 26, the Buenos Aires channel that signed on 1 April 1996 on UHF channel 26 in San Justo - the frequency that gave it its name. Owned by Telecentro, the media group of Alberto Pierri, Canal 26 began as a general-entertainment channel with music programs, contests, telenovelas and films before narrowing into the 24-hour news channel it is today, transmitting from the Torre Espacial in the Parque de la Ciudad with its master control in San Justo. Music TOP carries the group's music tradition forward as a dedicated channel - the entertainment half of a news group's portfolio.

Cable, Satellite and the Stream

The group's distribution is the widest of any Argentine independent: more than four and a half million subscribers through some 750 cable operators, including TeleCentro, Cablevisión, DirecTV, Telered, Red Intercable and Supercanal, with the signal carried across Latin America and reaching viewers in the United States, Spain and Portugal. Music TOP rides that carriage and adds its own live stream, so the music plays on cable in the provinces and on a phone anywhere else - Argentina's hit channel, around the clock.
