Almahriah TV, المهرية, is an Arabic-language satellite channel connected with the Al-Mahriah news network, the outlet published at almahriah.net. The network's reporting is concentrated on Yemen, and the channel carries that agenda to screen.

Coverage

The newsroom follows the war and its consequences across the country: military developments in Taiz and on the western front, the recovery of positions by government forces, and operations announced by the Yemeni army against Houthi units and equipment. Correspondents report from the governorates and from the front lines.

Civilian life receives equal attention. Recent output has dealt with displaced mothers in Taiz collecting plastic to feed their children, the displacement of some 309,000 people since the escalation in August according to the International Organization for Migration, and the European Union's three million euro contribution to humanitarian air transport in Yemen.

Weather and practical information for the governorates, including Mahra, Hadramout and Socotra, form a regular part of the service, and the network reports on regional diplomacy, including the Saudi-led coalition's announcements about intercepted drones.

Distribution

Almahriah TV broadcasts in Arabic by satellite and streams continuously over the internet from servers used by the channel's own distribution, with a feed that plays in high definition. Its programmes are also published on YouTube, where the channel maintains a video account.
