Antik Info TV is the information channel of Antik Telecom, a Slovak telecommunications operator, carried on the company's digital television service. The channel forms part of the operator's own television line-up, serving its audience in eastern and central Slovakia.

The operator behind the channel

Antik Telecom was founded in 1999 and is headquartered in Košice, Slovakia's second city. The company has built its own network across some twenty towns and more than 140 municipalities, delivering optical and wireless internet, telephony, and satellite and IP television to around 55,000 customers — households, businesses, schools and public institutions. Its portfolio has grown into adjacent smart technologies, from home automation to photovoltaics and camera systems.

An information channel for a TV platform

Within that television service, the info channel carries the kind of operator-level information Slovak viewers expect from their provider: regional and service information tied to the network's coverage area, complementing the commercial and public channels in the platform's package.

For Antik's subscribers, the channel is part of what distinguishes a regional operator's television offer from generic platform TV — a local information service delivered by the same company that maintains the network it runs on, from Košice outward across eastern Slovakia.
