Access Sacramento Channel 17 Live Stream

Access Sacramento Channel 17 is the community programming channel of Sacramento County's nonprofit media center - television made by and for the capital region's residents. The organization provides the training, equipment and production support that let community members create their own shows, and Channel 17 is where that work reaches the county's cable and online audience.

A Community Media Center

Access Sacramento describes its mission as lifting all voices: hands-on classes, workshops and an equipment library give residents the tools to produce television, and the resulting schedule is Sacramento speaking for itself - resident-produced shows, neighborhood organizations, arts and music, and faith and community programming that commercial television never carries.

Local Shows and the Film Festival

The channel carries the region's own creations, from Game of the Week high school sports coverage to the annual A Place Called Sacramento film festival, where local filmmakers premiere short films set in the city's own neighborhoods.

Public Access in the Capital

Channel 17 broadcasts around the clock, carrying the community's airwaves to Sacramento's cable subscribers and to its online audience - public access television from California's capital county, making a difference one voice at a time.
