Kaçkar TV Live Stream

Kaçkar TV is a regional television channel from Rize, broadcasting to Turkey's Eastern Black Sea coast - the tea-growing provinces beneath the Kaçkar Mountains that give the channel its name.

The Voice of the Black Sea Region

Kaçkar TV programs the life of its region: local news from Rize and the neighboring provinces, coverage of the tea harvests and hazelnut seasons that drive the regional economy, Black Sea music and folk culture, sport - with the local football clubs followed match by match - and talk programming in the region's distinctive voice. Religious programming and community event coverage round out the schedule.

Regional Television, Turkish Style

Turkey's regional channels survive by being irreplaceable at home - the national networks cover Istanbul and Ankara, while a channel like Kaçkar TV sends its cameras to the highland plateaus, village festivals and municipal sessions that never reach national air. The channel's live stream carries that regional signal to viewers across Turkey and the diaspora.
