Çiftçi TV - "Farmer TV" - is Turkey's first thematic television channel focused on agriculture and livestock, broadcasting from Istanbul under Yaşam Yayıncılık Radyo ve Televizyonculuk A.Ş., chaired by Tarık Çanak.

The Farmer's Channel

The channel describes itself as the independent and impartial voice of the producing farmer, free of political or corporate influence. Its reporting serves the whole agricultural chain: field farmers, small and large livestock breeders, machinery and equipment producers, and the seed, pesticide and fertiliser industries.

From Field Crops to Farm Innovation

Programme strands include Tarla Bitkileri - Field Crops - a fixture of the Çiftçi TV schedule covering the techniques of crop cultivation, and Tarıma Dair - About Agriculture - which pairs modern techniques with traditional methods for sustainable production, with a focus on innovation, technology and regional differences across Turkish farming. Documentary and educational formats complete the grid.
