TV Diário is a regional Brazilian television station based in Fortaleza, in the state of Ceará. Launched on 1 July 1998, it set out to present the Northeast in a conversational style rooted in the region’s culture and concerns. The station’s current site publishes local news, videos, programme pages and a schedule, connecting television output with the wider Sistema Verdes Mares media group.
News and service for Ceará
The official schedule includes Bom Dia Nordeste (Good Morning, Northeast), a morning news programme, and Conexão Verdinha (Verdinha Connection), which combines information and public-service coverage. The lineup also carries Bafulê com João Inácio Jr., a presenter-led local programme, and A Hora da Verdinha (Verdinha Hour), a roundup of the day’s main news. Show times and frequency can change, so these examples describe the published lineup rather than a fixed timetable.
Sport, culture and entertainment
Football coverage has a prominent place in Ceará’s regional media. The schedule lists Jogada 1º Tempo (First-Half Match) and Jogada 2º Tempo (Second-Half Match), with updates and discussion about local clubs. TV Diário’s programme catalogue also includes music, comedy, faith, films and cultural features, reflecting the variety of its regional output. Its editorial focus spans local reporting and service information as well as sport and entertainment. Consult the station’s own programme guide for current episodes and broadcast times.
