Arkhyz 24 Live Stream

Arkhyz 24 is the first round-the-clock republican television channel in Karachay-Cherkessia, a region of Russia’s North Caucasus. The channel began broadcasting in 2014 and has belonged since 2017 to the republic’s state Centre for Communications and Development. Its output combines regional news, public-affairs discussion, documentary projects and programmes about local culture.

News and public debate

Sobytiya dnya (Events of the Day) is the channel’s main news programme, covering political, economic, social and cultural events in the republic. Karachayevo-Cherkesiya online (Karachay-Cherkessia Online) brings politicians, public figures and specialists into discussions of current regional and North Caucasus issues. The documentary cycle Puls respubliki (Pulse of the Republic) examines notable chapters in the republic’s life, including language, education, community initiatives and local history.

Traditions, travel and community

Several projects focus on the people and cultural traditions of the region. Na ulitse Druzhby (On Friendship Street) features personal stories about mutual support, family customs, national cultures and friendship among the republic’s communities. Respublika traditsiy (Republic of Traditions) explores old rites and rituals and their place in contemporary life. Remyosla (Crafts) follows residents who preserve traditional crafts while adopting new techniques. Travel series Poyekhali (Let’s Go) follows routes and landscapes across the North Caucasus. Postav mne layk (Give Me a Like) introduces talented young people from Karachay-Cherkessia through their achievements, interests and skills.

The range of these programmes reflects Arkhyz 24’s regional remit: daily reporting sits beside documentary, cultural, travel and youth-focused formats. The channel’s schedule centres on Karachay-Cherkessia and its communities while also covering issues across the wider North Caucasus.
