Chilevisión Live Stream

Chilevisión, often shortened to CHV, is a Spanish-language free-to-air television channel based in Santiago, Chile. Founded by the University of Chile, it began broadcasting on 4 November 1960 from channel 9 in Santiago. The service combines national news with entertainment, sports and programmes for a broad audience.

News from Chile and the Wider World

Chilevisión Noticias is the channel's news service, covering national and international developments, public affairs and breaking events. The newsroom also publishes practical explainers under the CHV Te Ayuda (CHV Helps You) label. The breakfast programme Contigo en la Mañana (With You in the Morning) brings together news, interviews and current topics; its October 2026 coverage included weather updates with meteorologist Allison Göhler.

Food, Conversation and Sport

Entertainment includes La Divina Comida (The Divine Food), a dining format in which invited guests host one another and share meals at home. Podemos Hablar (We Can Talk) has featured interviews and personal conversations with Chilean guests. CHV's sports coverage also follows Chilean football and international competitions.

From University Channel to Chilevisión

The station began as the University of Chile's Channel 9 and adopted the Chilevisión name in 1993.
