24 News HD Live Stream

24 News HD is an Urdu-language news and current affairs channel based in Lahore, launched in October 2014 by Mohsin Naqvi, the founder of the City News Network. It began as a channel of in-depth analysis and talk shows rather than continuous bulletins, with a team of senior journalists and anchors recruited for that format, and later moved to a conventional round-the-clock news schedule.

News and Current Affairs

The grid combines bulletins with analysis and special reports on Pakistan, South Asia, China and the world. Among the channel's hosts are Nasim Zehra and Fiza Ali. Coverage follows politics in Islamabad and the provinces, business and markets, crime, health, education and sport.

Inside the City News Network

24 News HD is part of the City News Network group, whose channels include City 42 HD, City 41 HD, City 21 HD, 24 Entertainment HD, Rohi Pakistan HD and UK and EU 44 HD.

Licensing and PEMRA

In July 2020 the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority suspended the channel's licence for what it called illegal transmission of news and current affairs content, stating that the frequency had been licensed as Value TV to Central Media Network and rebranded as 24 News without approval.
