Local news from Salerno

TV Oggi is a local Italian television station based in Salerno. The broadcaster traces its history to 1978 and describes itself as a television service on the side of local residents. It is carried on digital terrestrial channel 88 in Salerno city and the Piana del Sele. News is a central part of the schedule: the station lists several daily editions, with reporting on local events, politics, public affairs, culture, and the economy. Recent video bulletins cover Salerno and the wider province, while the station also follows developments elsewhere in Campania.

Salernitana and regional sport

Sport coverage gives particular attention to Salernitana football. Zona Mista (Mixed Zone) is a discussion programme about the team, its matches, and the issues surrounding the club. The schedule also lists Amici Granata (Granata Friends), along with broadcasts of regional basketball, including Scafati Basket in the men’s Serie A2 and Salerno Basket 92 in the women’s Serie B. Beyond sport, the programme grid includes entertainment and current-affairs features. TV Oggi publishes news reports and programme videos online, while its local terrestrial signal serves viewers around Salerno. Broadcast times and individual sports coverage follow the calendar and may change during the season.
