7.Tv is the local public-service television channel of Bekescsaba, in Bekes county, Hungary. It is run by the Bekescsabai Mediacentrum, a media unit in 100 percent municipal ownership that also publishes the city newspaper Csabai Merleg - a fortnightly reaching 28,000 households since 1991 - and the news portal behir.hu, the three forming a single integrated organisation.

The City's Programme Grid

The channel's schedule is built around local journalism: the Hirado newscast and the Aktualis current-affairs block, the culture magazine Muvészbejaro, Spektrum, the Kezdőkör discussion format, Mesélő ovik for children, Zöld 7 on the environment, Szempont, Csabai forgatag on city life, and Generáció. Election seasons bring the Választás coverage strand.

Bekescsaba and Bekes County

Sport has a strong presence, with coverage of Bekescsaba 1912 Előre football and the BRSE volleyball and handball clubs, alongside reports from the Bekes county towns - Gyula, Oroshaza, Szarvas - and the city's cultural institutions, from the Jokai theatre to the Munkacsy Mihaly museum.
