A9 TV Live Stream

A9 TV was a Turkish television station that began broadcasting on 21 March 2011 via the Turksat satellite, operated by A9 Televizyonu Dijital Yayincilik. Much of its programming was built around the Islamic creationist author and cult leader Adnan Oktar, better known by his pen name Harun Yahya, and mixed religious content with English-language segments promoting creationism over evolution.

Programmes

The channel's output included the Harun Yahya documentaries, Adnan Oktar'in sohbet programlari - Oktar's talk programmes in Turkish and English - Building Bridges with opinion leaders from around the world, Ahir Zaman ve Yaratilis Delilleri (The End Times and the Evidence of Creation), Ittihad-i Islam (Islamic Union), Adil Yargi, documentaries for children and the news bulletin A9 Ana Haber.

The broadcasts were produced to a polished studio standard unusual for religious television, with Oktar's talk programmes forming the centre of the schedule and the documentaries repeating around them.

Closure

In 2018 the channel was fined several times by Turkey's broadcasting regulator RTÜK, and on 11 July 2018 A9 TV was shut down after Oktar's conviction on charges including leading a criminal gang. The organisation's broadcasts and archive have since continued online through the Harun Yahya platforms.
