Deejay TV is an Italian music television channel, part of the GEDI Gruppo Editoriale, broadcast free-to-air on digital terrestrial channel 69 and on Sky Italia. It is the television arm of the radio station Radio Deejay, sharing its studios, presenters and programmes.

From Satellite Experiment to Digital Terrestrial

The channel was launched on 10 June 2002 by the L'Espresso publishing group as a satellite music station; after a free-to-air start it became a pay channel on Sky Italia in 2003 and reached cable platforms in 2007. On 1 November 2009 the Deejay TV brand moved to digital terrestrial, replacing the group's All Music channel, while the Sky version continued as MyDeejay. The channel switched to 16:9 in February 2012, relaunched in a new version in January 2018 and started its HD simulcast in July 2019.

Radio Deejay on Screen

The current schedule simulcasts Radio Deejay's flagship shows with video: the morning show Deejay Chiama Italia with Linus and Nicola Savino, the afternoon blocks Summer Camp with Nikki, Federico Russo and Francesco Quarna and Gianluca Gazzoli's Gazzology, and the evening viral programme Say Waaad?! with Michele "Wad" Caporosso. Between the shows the channel runs a rotation of the most-played videos on Radio Deejay and the weekly Deejay Parade chart of the 50 most-programmed songs, with rolling news from La Repubblica.
