Retesole TV Lazio is the Lazio service of Retesole, an Italian regional broadcaster working in Rome's region and in Umbria.

Lazio's regional screen

The grid is the region around the capital: news from Rome and the Lazio provinces, local talk and current affairs, coverage of the towns from the Tyrrhenian coast to the Apennines, cultural programming and local sport.

One company, two regions

Retesole broadcasts in Umbria on channel 11 and in Lazio on channel 110 of the digital terrestrial network, which makes it one of the larger local operators in central Italy by both coverage and hours of output. Running two regional feeds from one company is how a local broadcaster reaches scale in a market this fragmented.

Rome and the province

Most of Lazio's population lives in Rome, but the province stretches from Civitavecchia and the coast to Rieti's mountains and the Ciociaria. A regional channel has to cover both the capital's municipal politics and the towns where the local news is entirely agricultural.

Distribution

The channel broadcasts on the Lazio and Umbria multiplexes and streams through its own site, reaching viewers across central Italy.
