WNBC Live Stream

WNBC is the flagship station of the NBC Television Network, broadcasting on channel 4 from studios at 30 Rockefeller Plaza in the heart of New York City and owned by NBCUniversal's owned-stations group.

America's First Commercial Station

The station's pedigree is unmatched: experimental television broadcasts from the Empire State Building date to the late 1920s, and in 1941 the station that became WNBC was issued the first commercial television license in the United States. As the network's flagship it has carried every era of NBC history from its Rockefeller Center home, today in a duopoly with Telemundo flagship WNJU, channel 47, serving both language communities of the metropolitan area.

News 4 New York

The newsroom produces News 4 New York around the day: Today in New York opens the mornings with news, weather and traffic for the region, evening bulletins lead into NBC primetime, and a late report closes the broadcast day. Storm Team 4 handles the market's weather, from nor'easters and summer heat to hurricane remnants tracking up the coast, and breaking-news coverage from the nation's largest media market feeds the network's national broadcasts.

Streaming 24/7

Beyond the over-the-air channel 4, the station runs a free 24-hour streaming news service with continuous news, weather and breaking coverage on its own site, with newscasts, investigations and segments available on demand through the station's video platforms for viewers across the tri-state area and beyond.
