From the TGRT Brand to a News Channel

The TGRT brand dates back to April 22, 1993, when İhlas Holding launched one of Turkey's earliest private television channels. In 2006 the general-entertainment TGRT was sold to News Corporation and became FOX in February 2007, while TGRT Haber and its sister channels remained with İhlas Holding.
