Television Jamaica (TVJ) Live Stream

Television Jamaica - TVJ - is one of Jamaica's two national television stations, broadcasting from Kingston as the television flagship of the RJRGleaner Communications Group.

The channel's history runs back to 6 August 1963, when television arrived in Jamaica a year after independence as JBC Television; the station passed to private hands as RJR acquired the former state broadcaster, rebranding it as Television Jamaica in 1998.

Jamaica's Programming

TVJ's grid is built on the country's best-known local formats: the morning show Smile Jamaica, Prime Time News, All Angles, Intense and the institution of Schools' Challenge Quiz, alongside Profile, All Together Sing, Entertainment Report and Eye on Sports - completed by acquired American comedies for the schedule's lighter hours.

Digital First

In 2022 TVJ became the first television network in Jamaica to broadcast in ATSC 3.0, the next-generation digital standard - a technical milestone for a station whose reach extends from free-to-air transmission to the 1SpotMedia streaming service.
